This really sucks. Bourdain had a big affect on my writing after I read his books and I credit his shows with introducing me to a lot of new foods I would not have sought out otherwise. Man I feel bad for his family.

About half of my family has it, and at least half the wife’s family (3-4 suicides in past 50 years)

In all of his books and interviews, I don’t recall him ever mentioning depression. I could be wrong, but he delved into all of his other demons....heroin, drinking, etc. so I’m a bit shocked he took his own life. Many depressed people never mention it, but again he seemed open about everything in his life. Very sad.

Looking at this Twitter feed I noticed this from two weeks ago. The other tweet has since been deleted. I just thought it was interesting considering what we’ve heard so far.

Just goes to show it doesn’t matter how famous you are or how much money you have, none of it matters when it comes to depression. Very sad to hear.

Man, that’s a bummer. I’m a huge MMA guy, Anthony was big into jiu-jitsu and often attended UFC events. Suicide sucks.

I feel fortunate when all my SO wants is a Kate Spade bag. My hands start to sweat when Burberry, LV, Chanel, etc. start coming up in conversations.

Cant exactly complain when I’m trying to validate dyno sessions, tunes, exhaust, etc.
